V60 Pour-Over — Step-by-Step Guide

The V60 produces a clean, aromatic cup with well-defined fruit notes. With the right grind and an even pour it is reliably delicious.

What you need

  • V60 dripper + paper filter
  • 15 g freshly ground coffee (medium)
  • 250 g water at 94 °C
  • Scale & timer

Steps

  1. Rinse the filter. Place the paper in the V60, rinse with hot water and discard it.
  2. Add coffee. Add 15 g of medium-ground coffee and level it.
  3. Bloom. Pour 40 g of water and let it bloom for 30–45 seconds.
  4. Pour. Top up to 250 g in two to three circular pours.
  5. Done. Total time about 2:30–3:00 min. Enjoy.
