The flavours are varied. Ethiopia Yirgacheffe is light roasted, floral and citrus-fresh, which makes it an ideal filter coffee. Alongside it are two organic decafs: a Honduras decaffeinated with the CO₂ process that tastes of cream, blackberry and cherry, and a Peru decaffeinated with sugar cane (EA) that shows grapefruit, caramel and grape. So there is organic coffee for your morning as well as for the evening.
For us, organic is a statement about how the coffee is grown rather than a promise of a particular flavour. That is why we roast our organic coffees as carefully as all the others and match the roast level to each bean. All organic coffees are available as whole beans or ground to suit your pour-over, portafilter or French press. We roast in small batches, and shipping within Germany is free on orders over €39.

What does organic mean for coffee?
Organic coffee is grown and processed under the EU organic regulation. Synthetic chemical pesticides and synthetic fertilisers are not permitted, and compliance is checked regularly by independent control bodies.
Does organic coffee taste different?
Flavour depends mainly on origin, variety, processing and roast. Organic describes how the coffee is farmed, not a particular taste, which is why our organic range includes floral and fruity as well as caramel-sweet coffees.
Is organic coffee also available as decaf?
Yes. We offer two organic decafs from Honduras and Peru, gently decaffeinated using the CO₂ and the sugar cane process respectively.
