Behind the cup
This organic coffee comes from the Amazonas region of northern Peru. It is grown by members of the Montaña Azul and Bagua Grande cooperatives and harvested between May and October. The beans are graded SHB EP Grade 1 and certified organic and Fairtrade.
The lot combines several varieties: Typica, Caturra, Pache, Mundo Novo, Catuaí and Catimor. It is washed processed.
In the cup you will find chocolate and cacao, with nuts and floral nuances. We recommend it as espresso, but it also does well in a bean-to-cup machine, moka pot, pour-over and French press.
