Note — Espresso Blend Brazil & India

Note is our most intense espresso blend, made for anyone who likes their coffee bold and rich in crema. It combines Brazilian Arabica from Minas Gerais with Indian Robusta from Coorg in the state of Karnataka. The Arabica varieties Mundo Novo, Catuaí and Bourbon bring sweetness, while the Robusta variety CxR adds body and punch.

The components are partly washed and partly pulped natural. We roast Note medium so that sweetness and intensity come together without the coffee tasting burnt or bitter. In the cup you will taste nougat, hazelnut, roasted nuts and cocoa, with a moderate, well-integrated acidity.

Its greatest strength is the stable crema. In a portafilter, Note pulls a dense, chocolatey espresso; in a bean-to-cup machine it produces a full-bodied café crema with a fine head of foam. In a cappuccino or latte macchiato it stays clearly noticeable even with plenty of milk.

If an espresso can never be intense enough for you and crema matters, Note is the right choice. The beans are available whole or finely ground for your portafilter.
