Terms & Conditions

The German version of these terms is legally binding; this English translation is provided for convenience.

§ 1 Scope

These terms and conditions apply to all orders placed via our online shop with Roastau GmbH ("provider"). A consumer is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade or self-employed professional activity.

§ 2 Contracting party, conclusion of contract

The purchase contract is concluded with Roastau GmbH. The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer but a non-binding invitation to order. By clicking the order button you place a binding order for the goods in the cart. Receipt of the order is confirmed immediately; the purchase contract is concluded upon our shipping confirmation or delivery.

§ 3 Prices and shipping

All prices include statutory VAT. Shipping costs may apply and are shown separately during checkout. Orders of €39 or more ship free within Germany.

§ 4 Payment

Payment is made using one of the methods offered during checkout (e.g. prepayment, invoice, and the online payment methods displayed).

§ 5 Delivery

Coffees in stock are usually ready to ship within 1–2 business days. We roast in small batches and ship close to the roast date.

§ 6 Retention of title

The goods remain our property until full payment.

§ 7 Right of withdrawal

Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. Details are set out in our cancellation policy.

§ 8 Warranty

Statutory warranty rights apply.

§ 9 Dispute resolution

The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. We are not obliged or willing to participate in dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration board.

§ 10 Final provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
