Behind the cup
This espresso tasting set lets you get to know three of our coffees side by side, each in a 250 g bag. Inside you will find Note, our espresso blend from Brazil and India, Lagoa from Fazenda da Lagoa in Brazil, and El Jaguar from the Guatemalan highlands.
Together they show how differently espresso can taste. Note is bold and chocolatey, with nougat, cocoa and a stable crema. Lagoa brings almond, hazelnut and fig while staying sweet and round. El Jaguar is the lightest of the three: pulled as espresso it is fruity with nectarine and caramel, and it also makes an excellent filter coffee.
Take your time comparing which profile you like best, whether straight, as a cappuccino or as a café crema from a bean-to-cup machine. Once you have found your favourite espresso, you can order it in larger bags from our range.
The set also makes a thoughtful gift for anyone who enjoys discovering new coffee. All beans are freshly roasted in Kreuzau, and you can order them whole or choose a grind size.
